Meet (2024)

Meet (2024)

As the producer of Meet 2024, I helped bring to life a powerful short film that raises awareness about the experiences of sexual assault victims. The film sensitively portrays the emotional and psychological impact of assault through a compelling narrative centered on a young man’s struggle after an incident at a party. Through authentic dialogue and intense performances, the film highlights themes of trauma, consent, and support, aiming to spark meaningful conversation and empathy around these issues. (You will need an age verified account to watch this short film.) May be disturbing to some viewers.

Distilled (2024)

As the producer and co-editor of DISTILLED BBC PROJECT, I contributed to the creation of a compelling short film produced under the BBC Bring the Drama challenge within a tight 48-hour timeframe. This project showcases efficient teamwork, creative storytelling, and precise editing that amplified the film’s dramatic impact. The experience demonstrated strong skills in rapid production and post-production, delivering a high-quality narrative under pressing deadlines.

SoundCheck 123 (2023)

As the editor of SoundCheck 123, I shaped the narrative of this impactful documentary that showcases the vital role of SoundCheck in fostering musical development and community connection on the Isle of Man. The film highlights how SoundCheck provides a supportive space for musicians of all ages and backgrounds to learn, collaborate, and grow. Through careful editing, the documentary captures the heartfelt testimonials and vibrant music scenes, emphasizing the project's cultural and social importance.

pregame chronicles (2023)

Pregame Chronicles (2023)

As director of Pregame Chronicles 2023, I led a documentary project exploring the unique student culture of pre-drinking in Liverpool. This film was part of a practical exercise in documentary production, where my team and I immersed ourselves in real student environments to capture authentic perspectives on alcohol and social rituals. Through interviews and candid storytelling, the documentary provides insight into the pregame tradition, highlighting how it shapes social life and choices for students.

Fred Gardener (Short Movie) (2021)

Fred Gardener (Short Movie) (2021)

This experimental short film, created during my sixth form years, marks the very beginning of my deep passion for filmmaking. Inspired by the rise of serial killers in the 1980s, I took on every role, director, cinematographer, editor, and producer, to fully realize this atmospheric and dark narrative. This project was a turning point for me, the first time I truly considered filmmaking as a career path. I affectionately regard it as my "Doodlebug - Christopher Nolan," a foundational piece that ignited my commitment to visual storytelling and creative exploration.

Upcoming Projects

Sparked (TBD)
Line Producer
On the eve of the biggest fight of his life, Drystan Blythe falls into a terrifying spiral of mental illness where the center cannot hold. As Line Producer on Sparked, I served as a critical conduit between all departments, ensuring seamless workflow and communication across this ambitious project. The film is set for an upcoming release and will be touring the festival circuit.
World Peace Is Coming (TBD)
Producer
Liam, a 20-year-old student living life on repeat, struggles to keep his past torments from his new life at uni. He finds comfort in Dawn, a girl in his art class, but a menacing voice in his mind leads him to a tragic and surreal climax. As producer, I helped bring this psychologically intense project together, managing all aspects from development through production. Featuring a high-category actor, World Peace Is Coming is currently awaiting release clearance, but has already had a successful exposition event at Liverpool’s Café Tabac, attracting a strong audience and building anticipation for its planned festival run.

Accademic Papers & Reasearch

My academic background in film production is reflected in my major research paper, The Impact of Colour through the History of Cinema (BA Film Production Major Project, SAE Liverpool). This study explores the profound influence of colour on cinematic storytelling and audience psychology—from manual hand-tinting and the dawn of Technicolor to the digital intermediates of contemporary filmmaking. Through historical analysis, practical application, and a public questionnaire, my research investigates not only how technological advances shaped visual styles, but also how colour can be intentionally used to evoke emotion, shape narrative, and enhance realism. The final sections apply this research to my own creative projects, including a detailed breakdown of colour grading strategies in my short film Meet 2024. The work demonstrates my commitment to both rigorous academic inquiry and innovative visual practice, providing insight into the kind of thoughtfully crafted, technically informed work I bring to every project.Below you are able to acces my Academic Paper.

Graphic Design

I designed a dynamic series of posters for the Wired house music events hosted at Linekers Group venues in Marbella, iconic nightlife spots that attract diverse international crowds. Each event features world-class DJs flown in to headline, with poster designs tailored to the specific energy and audience of each night. My approach was to deliver vibrant, eye-catching visuals that reflected the range of vibes across various events while maintaining a cohesive, recognizable brand identity for Wired, exactly as the owners envisioned. By experimenting with different layouts, bold colour palettes, and photographic elements, I ensured each poster not only captured attention but also contributed to a unified marketing strategy across digital and print media. This work demonstrates my ability to synthesize client requirements, event themes, and visual trends into striking, effective marketing assets. The success of these campaigns played a key role in building anticipation and boosting attendance at premier events in Marbella’s nightlife scene.

Marketing Campaigns

As head of the marketing campaign for the independent short film SICKNOTE, I crafted and implemented an end-to-end strategy that combined digital marketing, physical promotion, and direct audience engagement to ensure both creative resonance and measurable impact. My approach began with building a synchronized, multi-platform presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, tailoring and scheduling content for each outlet to maximize organic reach and engagement. I managed all major social accounts, coordinated content releases at optimal times, and developed an interconnected ecosystem using Linktree, allowing each channel to drive traffic to the others for a multiplier effect. This was reinforced by deploying platform-specific strategies, such as using trending hashtags relevant to film and student creators, and producing unique video, BTS, and story content targeting aspiring filmmakers, festival audiences, and local communities.Analytics were central to our process: the campaign grew Instagram by 120 followers in 6 weeks, reached 1198 accounts, and generated over 6500 impressions with a monthly growth rate of 155%. We achieved these results through creative experimentation (e.g., QR code posters, visually bold flyering), continual analysis, and rapid adaptation, directly targeting both online users and high-traffic physical spaces. Our printed materials included clever, humor-driven “JobCenter” style posters with hidden visual elements, building curiosity and prompting in-person engagement.

Throughout our successful Kickstarter campaign, I created and managed reward tiers and project updates that encouraged both contribution and a genuine sense of community. By releasing exclusive content and providing early access as incentives, I sustained backer interest and ensured a high retention and conversion rate. We also extended our reach through interactive newsletters and by featuring project news on podcasts, local platforms, and the teaser trailer.Teamwork was key: I facilitated clear, coordinated communication across the production and marketing teams using group chats, regular in-person and virtual meetings, and a system for feedback and quick problem solving. These collaborative efforts helped us to maintain consistent messaging, quickly respond to audience trends, and adjust tactics in real time. Our campaign aimed not just to fund, but to establish SICKNOTE as a compelling new voice in British indie film, with a festival strategy focused on Liverpool and London, and a built-in following among both UK and Spanish expat audiences, reflecting the film’s social themes and transnational reach.Select campaign assets and examples:

With this campaign I demonstrated my ability to creatively blend digital and physical strategies, analyze data to refine tactics, and foster team synergy, all while achieving real audience engagement and tangible results for independent film production.
